2.16.6. Access to backups via FTP

FTP can be accessed only for files and directories. If you need data from a database backup, you need to create and download its backup.

The article describes the procedure for obtaining direct FTP access to automatic backups that contain files and directories of the hosting account. Thus, you can extract individual files and directories from a copy without the need creation and downloads archive with backup.

Use any of the methods:

V filemanager change your connection source to «Backup»:
In chapter «My sites» in the site menu, click «Site backups»:
In chapter «Backup » opposite the desired date, click on the button with the folder image:

Open the section «Backup ».
In the block «FTP access to backups» click «Enable FTP Access»:
Use the connection settings that appear (server address, login and password or FTP URL) in any FTPclient:
