2.14.1.1.2. No connection to WordPress.org

If, when you try to install or update WordPress components (themes, plugins) through site admin panel, an error appears like "There may be something wrong with WordPress.org or your server settings", check antivirus report. If antivirus detects malicious code in hosting account, outgoing connections are automatically blocked for it.

To fix the issue, do the following:

1. Check antivirus report.
2. Clean all infected files from malicious code.
3. Run antivirus scan again.
4. If no threats are detected, wait about 15-30 minutes and check the website to see if the problem persists.
