2.6.1.1.4. Change database user password

Attention!

After changing the password, be sure to replace the old password with the new password in the configuration file of the site that uses this database.
  1. Open the "Databases" section.
  2. In the database menu, in the row with the desired user, click "Change password":
  3. Specify a new password or generate a random password and click "Save".
  4. Replace the old password with the new password in the site configuration file or the settings of the MySQL client that uses this database.
