2.5.12. Disk space analysis with file manager
Faster and more visual analysis can be performed using ncdu console utility.
By default, the file manager only displays file sizes. Information about directory sizes and number of inodes can be viewed in several ways.
Separate directories
The size
Click on the dash in the column "The size". After that, the size of the directory will be calculated and displayed. Clicking the size again will update the information.
Size and inodes
Select the directory, open the context menu and select "Properties". In the properties window there will be information about the size and inodes.
All files and directories
On the toolbar, click "Show directory sizes and number of inodes". After that in the column "The size" the sizes of all directories will be displayed and instead of the column "Date" column will be displayed "Inodes".
