2.5.2. Connection sources

The current connection source is displayed at the top of the panel to the left of the path:

  • Connection source — the button shows the current connection source and allows it change:
    • "account" — you are connected to a hosting account. Default source.
    • "backup" - you are connected to account backup.
    • "vps" — you are connected to VPS over SSH.
    • "storage" — you are connected to container storage.
    • "ftp" - you are connected to FTP-server.
    • "ssh" — you are connected to the server via SSH.
  • Connection name:
    • For the source "account" — the name of the hosting account. By clicking, you can quickly switch between the hosting accounts available in the current account.
    • For the source "backup" - the date the account was backed up. By clicking, you can quickly switch between backups for the available dates.
    • For the source "vps" — title VPS.
    • For the source "storage" - title container storage.
    • For the source "ftp" — address FTP-server.
    • For the source "ssh" - username on the server.

By clicking on the current connection source, you can change it to another and connect hosting account, his backup, VPS, repository or to any server by FTP or SSH:

  1. Click on the current connection source and select "Hosting account".
  2. Select the required hosting account from the list and click "Connect" (the list displays all hosting accounts that can be accessed from the current account):
  1. Click on the current connection source and select "Backup".
  2. Select the required hosting account from the list, the required date and click "Connect" (the list displays all hosting accounts that can be accessed from the current account, and all dates for which there are backups of the selected hosting account):
  1. Click on the current connection source and select "VPS".
  2. Select the required server from the list and click "Connect" (the list displays all VPSs that can be accessed from the current account):
  1. Click on the current connection source and select "Storage".
  2. Select the required storage, container from the list and click "Connect" (the list displays all storages that can be accessed from the current account):
  1. Click on the current connection source and select "FTP".
  2. Specify the data to connect to the desired server by FTP and press "Connect":
    • "Host" - address FTP-server.
    • "Login" — username on FTP-server.
    • "Password" — user password for FTP-server.
    • "Port" — the port to be used for connection. The default is standard port 21.
  1. Click on the current connection source and select "SSH".
  2. Specify the details for connecting to the desired server via SSH and click "Connect":
    • "Host" - server address.
    • "Login" — username on the server.
    • "Private key" — private key file. Attention! Used only if SSH key authentication is configured on the server.
    • "Password" — user password on the server. It can be omitted if the connection is by keys.
    • "Port" — the port to be used for connection. By default, the standard port 22 is used.
