2.6.2.1.6. Enabling Binary Transfer Mode in FileZilla

Use binary transfer mode to prevent FileZilla from breaking the contents of script files (such as JavaScript) when they are loaded by FTP.

To enable binary data transfer in FileZilla, use any of the following methods:

On the menu "Broadcast → Transmission mode" set the switch opposite "Binary":
Open the section "Editing → Settings…":In chapter "Transmission → FTP: File Types" set the switch opposite "Binary"
With active FTP-connection in the lower left part of the main window, click the button to switch the data transfer mode:Select from the menu "Binary":
