2.6.2.2.4. Enabling Binary Data Transfer Mode in Total Commander
Use the binary mode of data transfer so that Total Commander does not break the contents of script files (for example, JavaScript) when they are loaded by FTP.
To enable binary data transfer mode, use any of the following methods:
- Open the section "Configuration → Customization…":
In chapter "Basic operations → FTP" against "Default mode" choose "Binary (zip, doc, etc.)":
- With active FTP-connection at the top of the main window, click the button to switch the data transfer mode:
