2.24.2.10.5. Setting up K-9 Mail (Android)

K-9 Mail (Google Play, GitHub) Is a free open source email client for Android devices.
  1. Open the settings in the main menu:
  2. Click "Add to" in the section "Boxes":
  3. Enter full name and password mailbox and press "FURTHER":
  4. Click "IMAP":
  5. Specify your inbox settings and click "FURTHER":
    • "IMAP server" — mail.adm.tools.
    • "Safety" — "SSL/TLS".
    • "Port" — 993.
    • "Login" — mailbox name.
    • "Authentication" — "Regular password".
    • "Password" — mailbox password.
    • Set the remaining settings as shown in the screenshot.
  6. Specify the outgoing server settings and click "FURTHER":
    • "SMTP server" — mail.adm.tools.
    • "Safety" — "SSL/TLS".
    • "Port" — 465.
    • "Authorization" — be sure to turn on.
    • "Login" — mailbox name.
    • "Authentication" — "Regular password".
    • "Password" — mailbox password.
    • Set the remaining settings as shown in the screenshot.
  7. If necessary, set additional options, and click "FURTHER":
  8. Enter the name of the mail account, your name and click "READY":
  9. Check the operation of the connected mailbox.
