2.24.2.4.3. Configuring the Outlook 2010 mail client

Attention!

Outlook 2010 is officially supported terminated... Use any of the modern mail clients.
  1. Open the section "File → Intelligence" and press "Adding an account":
  2. Pleaseselect "Manually configure server settings or additional server types" and press "Further":
  3. Pleaseselect "Internet email" and press "Further":
  4. Fill out the form and click "Other settings …":
    • User information:
      • "Enter your name" - enter your name in any form.
      • "Email address" - specify title mailbox.
    • Server Information:
      • "Account type" - select "IMAP".
      • "Incoming mail server" — specify mail.adm.tools.
      • "Outgoing mail server (SMTP)" — specify mail.adm.tools.
    • Login to the system:
      • "User " - specify title mailbox.
      • "Password" - specify password mailbox.
    • "Secure Password Checker (SPA)" — check mark necessarily must be removed.
  5. In the tab "Outgoing mail server" check the box next to "SMTP Server Requires Authentication" and select "Same as server for incoming mail":
  6. Switch to tab "More", fill in the fields and click "OK":
    • Server port numbers:
      • "IMAPserver" — specify 993.
      • "Use the following encryption type" — select "SSL".
      • "SMTPServer" — specify 465.
      • "Use the following encryption type" — select "SSL".
    • Folders:
      • "Root folder path" — specify INBOX. (with a dot).
  7. Send a letter to any address.
  8. Open the section "File → Intelligence" and press "Account setup → Account setup…":
  9. Select the created account and click "Edit…":
  10. Click "Other settings …":
  11. In the tab "Sent" set the switch opposite "Save sent items to the following folder on the server", select "Sent" and press "OK":
  12. Check your mail.
