2.24.2.5.2. Setting up The Bat!

  1. In the top menu, click "Box → New mailbox…":
  2. Fill in the fields and click "Further":
  3. Specify your inbox settings and click "Further":
    • "To receive mail use" — "IMAP - Internet Mail Access Protocol v4".
    • "Server address" — mail.adm.tools.
    • "Compound" — "Safe on spec. port (TLS)".
    • "Port" — 993.
    • "Username" — mailbox name.
    • "Password" — mailbox password.
  4. Specify outgoing mail settings and click "Further":
    • "Outgoing mail server (SMTP) address" — mail.adm.tools.
    • "Compound" — "Safe on spec. port (TLS)".
    • "Port" — 465.
    • "My SMTP server requires authentication" - turn it on.
  5. Enter your account information in The Bat! and press "Done":
    • "Your name" - your name in free form.
    • "Box name (displayed in the folder tree)" — mailbox name.
  6. Right-click on the added mailbox in the main window and select "Mailbox properties…":
  7. Fill in the fields in the section "Mail management" and press "OK":
    • "The root folder" — INBOX. (with a dot).
    • "Sent" - turn on and select "INBOX.Sent".
    • "Basket" - turn on and select "INBOX.Trash".
  8. Check your mail.
