2.24.2.5.2. Setting up The Bat!
- In the top menu, click "Box → New mailbox…":
- Fill in the fields and click "Further":
- "Your name" - your name in free form.
- "Email address — mailbox name.
- "Password" — mailbox password.
- "Protocol" — "IMAP or POP".
- Specify your inbox settings and click "Further":
- "To receive mail use" — "IMAP - Internet Mail Access Protocol v4".
- "Server address" —

- "Password" — mailbox password.
- Specify outgoing mail settings and click "Further":

. - "My SMTP server requires authentication" - turn it on.
- Enter your account information in The Bat! and press "Done":
- "Your name" - your name in free form.
- "Box name (displayed in the folder tree)" — mailbox name.
- Right-click on the added mailbox in the main window and select "Mailbox properties…":
- Fill in the fields in the section "Mail management" and press "OK":
- "The root folder" —
INBOX.
(with a dot). - "Sent" - turn on and select "INBOX.Sent".
- "Basket" - turn on and select "INBOX.Trash".
- Check your mail.
