Unsuccessful login attempt

Error "Unsuccessful login attempt" at the entrance to WebMail can occur in the following situations:

  • The hosting account on which the mailbox is located is not active. If the hosting account has not been paid for, the mailboxes hosted on it will be unavailable. To resume the hosting account (and the mailboxes located on it), you need it pay or extend on credit.
  • The username and password are incorrect on the WebMail login page.
  • More than 20 connections per minute are established to a mailbox from one IP. The reason may be in the settings of the email client used, which generates too many connections, which should not be the case in normal operation. Or, too many users work with the mailbox from one IP at the same time.
