2.24.3.8. Error "Maximum number of connections from user + IP exceeded"

Error "Maximum number of connections from user+IP exceeded (mail_max_userip_connections=20)" occurs in the case of a product per minute:

  • Or more than 20 connections with mailbox regardless of the IP address.
  • Or more than 20 connections to the mail server from one IP.

To rectify the situation, you should find out what exactly can create these connections (which script or software), and reduce their number.
