2.7.2.2.3. Killing processes with HeidiSQL

Each database connection starts in a separate process (thread). The process can be forcibly terminated using the command KILL.

  1. Connect to the database using HeidiSQL.
  2. Open the tab "Host" ("Host") and on it the tab "Processes" ("Processes"):
  3. Update information by clicking F5 or by button "Refresh" ("Refresh"):
  4. Select the process to end and click Del or right-click on it and select "Kill Process(es)…" ("Kill process (s)…"):
  5. Confirm the operation by pressing "OK".
