2.7.2.2.1. Setting up a database connection in HeidiSQL
Before connecting, make sure that the IP from which the connection will be made is added to the list of allowed in security settings MySQL.

- "Network type" ("Network type") - make sure that is selected "MariaDB or MySQL (TCP/IP)".
- "Hostname / IP" ("Hostname / IP") — specify the host from data to connect to the database.
- "User" ("User ) - specify the login from data to connect to the database.
- "Password" ("Password") - enter the password from data to connect to the database.
- "Port" ("Port") — make sure the default port is specified

. - "Databases" ("Databases") — specify the name of the database from data to connect to the database.
- Clickon "Open" ("Open") and in the window that appears, specify whether you want to save the specified connection settings.
