1.6. Access delegation

Delegation is the provision of temporary access to a service. After the service is delegated to another hosting user, it is simultaneously displayed in several control panels — in the owner’s panel and in the panel of users with delegated access.

Important points:

  • Can delegate access service owner only.
  • Operations that available only to the owner of the service and are not available when delegated:
    • Everything that affects the cost of services:
      • Tariff change, configuration change, volume change.
      • Ordering, changing and refusing additional services that paid separately. A user with delegated access can only manage supplementary services that included in the fare (cm. businesshosting).
    • Everything related to service ownership: domain transfer, transfer of rights, refusal of service.
  • Delegation automatically turns off at transfer of rights for a service.
  • Delegation notavailable, when a procedure is initiated but not completed in the service owner’s account verification.
  • Hosting-accounts When delegating, access is provided to the entire content of the hosting account; you cannot delegate access to a specific site. To provide access to the directory of a specific site and its database, use the instructions:
