New service — corporate mail

A new service has been implemented — corporate mail.

Now mail domains can be of two types:

Dedicated mail domain.
Mail domain of hosting account.

Dedicated mail domain. This is a separate mail service — the mail domain is not linked to any other services and is paid daily from the balance. The plan consists of two parts — disk space (50-5000 GB) and the limit of outgoing mails per day (2000-15000), which allows you to flexibly choose the plan for your needs. The selected plan can be changed at any time as needed. Delegation and ownership transfer are available for the service.

Mail domain of hosting account. This is an old format of working with mail, when several mail domains are linked to a hosting account and are included in its price. Delegation and ownership transfer is only possible together with the hosting account.

The mail domain of a hosting account can be separated and turned into a dedicated domain at any time. However, this only works in one way — a dedicated mail domain cannot be linked back to the hosting account.

Changes in mail linked to hosting account:

Disk space for mail now always corresponds to the disk space in the current hosting account plan. You can increase the space either by increasing the hosting account plan or by separating the mail domain.
The limit of outgoing emails per day is now always 500 when sending from a web server without authorization and 500 when sending via SMTP with authorization. The limit can only be increased by separating the mail domain.
When adding a mail domain, it is no longer required to have a site with the same name in the "My sites" section.
The number of mail domains no longer depends on the number of sites in your hosting account. You can add up to 999 mail domains with any name.

Other important changes:

Our primary MX server is now mx.services. The old addresses will continue to work, but we now recommend using the new address when setting up your domain.
You can no longer add subdomains as mail domains. Only main domains can be used.
To send emails from the web server without authorization using the limit of a dedicated mail domain, you need to select a mailbox of this mail domain as outgoing mail in the site settings. Without selecting a mailbox, the standard hosting account limit of 500 emails will be used.
