4.3.5.2 Configuring the mail client The Bat!

  1. In the top menu, click «Box → New mailbox…»:
  2. Fill in the fields and click «Further»:
    • «Your name» — your name in any form.
    • «Email address — mailbox name.
    • «Password» — mailbox password.
    • «Protocol» — «IMAP or POP».
  3. Specify your inbox settings and click «Further»:
    • «To receive mail use» — «IMAP - Internet Mail Access Protocol v4».
    • «Server address» — mail.adm.tools.
    • «Compound» — «Safe on spec. port (TLS)».
    • «Port» — 993.
    • «Username» — mailbox name.
    • «Password» — mailbox password.
  4. Specify outgoing mail settings and click «Further»:
    • «Outgoing mail server (SMTP) address» — mail.adm.tools.
    • «Compound» — «Safe on spec. port (TLS)».
    • «Port» — 465.
    • «My SMTP server requires authentication» — turnon.
  5. Enter your account information in The Bat! and press «Done»:
    • «Your name» — your name in any form.
    • «Box name (displayed in the folder tree)» — mailbox name.
  6. Right-click on the added mailbox in the main window and select «Mailbox properties…»:
  7. Fill in the fields in the section «Mail management» and press «OK»:
    • «The root folder» — INBOX. (with dot).
    • «Sent» — turn on and select «INBOX.Sent».
    • «Basket» — turn on and select «INBOX.Trash».
  8. Check your mail.
