2.19.2.4.3. Setting up Outlook 2016-2021 mail client (macOS)

  1. In the top menu, click «Service → Accounts»:
  2. Click «Adding an email account» or ➕ and select «Create an account»:
  3. Pleaseindicate title mailbox and press «Continue»:
  4. Disable «Synchronize with Microsoft Cloud» and press «IMAP»:
  5. Specify connection settings and click «Add account»:
    • «Email address» — title mailbox.
    • «Username» — title mailbox.
    • «Password» — password mailbox.
    • «Incoming mail server» — mail.adm.tools.
    • «Port» — 993.
    • Pleaseselect «Use SSL for connection (recommended)».
    • «Outgoing mail server» — mail.adm.tools.
    • «Port» — 465.
    • Pleaseselect «Use SSL for connection (recommended)».
  6. Customize the appearance of the app if you're running it for the first time and click «Done».
  7. Check your mail.

  6. Click «Done»:

  8. Select the created account and click «More»:
  9. In the tab «Server» in field «Root IMAP folder» indicate INBOX. (with a dot):
  10. Outlook by default stores emails not in standard folders, but creates its own, which can interfere with normal mail synchronization. To ensure that mail is synchronized as needed, on the tab «Folders» specify standard folders and click «OK»:
    • «Sent» — «Sent (on the server)».
    • «Drafts» — «Drafts (server side)».
    • «Spam» — «Junk (on the server)».
    • «Deleted» — «Trash (on the server)».
  11. Check your mail.
