Manticore Search — is a modern, fast, lightweight and easy-to-use database designed specifically for search. It is an alternative to Sphinx, Elasticsearch, provides faster speed than MySQL's built-in search. Was created in 2017 as fork of Sphinx, after which the code was almost completely rewritten, many bugs fixed and new features added. The code is open source and available on GitHub.
Plans
Available plans differ:
- Number of available processor cores.
- Amount of RAM.
- Capacity of disk space.
While using Manticore Search plan can be changed.
Version
When ordering, the current version of Manticore Search is fixed. To avoid unnecessary database restarts and problems if the functionality of a new version is incompatible with the previous one, new versions are not installed automatically.
When a new version of Manticore Search is released, a button appears in the "Instance" block that allows you to restart the instance and switch to the new version:
