2.5.2.11. tmp directory

The tmp directory in the root of the hosting account is not a real directory, but a symbolic link (symlink) to the system directory .system/tmp, where temporary files created by site scripts during their operation are stored. That is, when opening the tmp directory, the contents of the .system/tmp directory are actually displayed.

This symlink is intended to allow quick access to the directory with temporary files, to check or clear its contents using a file manager or any FTP client if necessary. Previously, access to this directory via FTP was only possible by following the instructions.

The removal of this symlink does not affect the operation of the sites. It will be automatically restored after some time.
