2.5.2.6. FTP logs

FTP logs are available in the "FTP logs" section.

Date and filters

Important points:

  • Logs are stored only for the current and the previous 3 months, and only for the days when actions were performed via FTP. Older logs are not stored.
  • The current date in the calendar is always available, regardless of whether there are entries on that day.

Calendar. Allows you to select the day for which the log will be displayed. In the calendar:

  • Light green — days for which logs are available.
  • Dark green — selected day.
  • Red frame — current date.

Time filter. Allows you to view the log not for the whole day, but for a selected time period.

Search. Allows you to filter queries by the presence of certain text in them.

Download. Download buttons:

  • "Download for day" — downloads the log for the day selected in the calendar.
  • "Download for month" — downloads the log for the month to which the selected day in the calendar belongs. ⚠️ The log for the current month includes all days from the beginning of the month, except the current one.

Log

Important points:

  • The EXIT - - - Module-specific policy entry means that access is restricted for the IP address.
  • The presence of our IP address 185.39.224.11 in the log is a consequence of checking FTP access during the execution of the site technical check.
  • Actions in the file manager are not saved in the log.

  • "Time" — time of operation execution.
  • "IP" — IP address from which the operation was made. Clicking on it puts it into the filter.
  • "Login" — name of the FTP user.
  • "Action" — executed command and response code.
