2.14.1.10. Configure WordPress to work at address without www

  1. Disable the redirect to the address with www or without www if it is enabled. This is necessary to prevent a cyclic redirect during the setup process.
  2. In the admin panel of the site (not in the hosting control panel) in the section "Settings → General", remove www from the addresses (URL) (for example, if http://www.example.com was specified, enter http://example.com):
  3. Check the site operation by opening it at an address without www.
  4. If everything is in order, enable the redirect to the address without www.
  5. Check the site operation again.

In most cases, the described actions are sufficient for the site to work at the address without www.
