2.14.9.14. PrestaShop update

Warning!

Before proceeding, be sure to create backups site and its database.

You can upgrade PrestaShop to the latest version using the 1-Click Upgrade module.

Installing 1-Click Upgrade

  1. Openup site admin panel.
  2. In the side menu in the section "IMPROVE" ("IMPROVEMENTS") go to section "Modules → Module Catalog" ("Modules → Module catalog"), enter in the search box 1-Click Upgrade and in the card of the found module, click "Install" ("Install"):

Update

  1. In the side menu in the section "MORE" ("YET") go to section "1-Click Upgrade" and in the block "THE PRE-UPGRADE CHECKLIST" click "Click here to put your shop under maintenance" ("Click here to put your store in maintenance mode"):
  2. In the block "BACKUP OPTIONS" set the switches opposite "Back up my files and database" and "Back up my images" into position "NO":
  3. In the block "UPGRADE OPTIONS" set the switches opposite "Disable non-native modules" and "Upgrade the default theme" into position "NO" and press "Save" ("Save"):
  4. In the block "START YOUR UPGRADE" in field "Channel" select the desired update channel, save changes with the button "Save" and press "CHECK IF A NEW VERSION IS AVAILABLE":
  5. In the block "START YOUR UPGRADE" click "UPGRADE PRESTASHOP NOW!":
  6. Wait for the update to complete.
  7. Go to the maintenance mode management section, set the switch opposite "Enable Shop" ("Enable store") to position "YES" ("YES") and press "Save" ("Save"):
  8. Check the site is working.
