2.5.2.2.1.6. Edit file on server using FileZilla

With FileZilla, you can edit files on the server. To edit, simply right-click on the file and select "View/Edit":

When you click the file edit button, it will be downloaded and opened in the default editor set for this type of files in FileZilla.

After making changes, you need to save the file. In most editors, this can be done by default by clicking on "File → Save" or by pressing the Ctrl+S combination. Once the file is saved, a window will appear in FileZilla with information that the file uploaded for editing has been modified and can be uploaded to the server. In this case, you need to click "Yes" to accept the changes to the file on the server:
