2.1.7. Changing the country where the hosting account is located

Attention!

Run migrations at times of low site traffic. During migration, access to all databases is blocked in the hosting account and a stub is displayed on all sites «Service is temporarily unavailable». Immediately after the migration is completed, the stub automatically disappears and all sites become available to visitors.

Important points:

  • During the migration, read access will be restored to all files of the hosting account on behalf of the owner of this hosting account.
  • The country changes for the entire hosting account. If you need to change the country for a particular site, then this site must be placed in a separate hosting account (toorder new hosting account, postpone to his site and change country).
  • Change of country may be unavailable for some time when ordering or switching to businesshosting.
  • Migration is not available:
    • For hosting accounts with ordered dedicated IP. To migrate, you need to abandon them: switch to a shared IP in settings all sites of the hosting account, refuse from the renewal of the dedicated IP ordered in it and delete unpaid orders for dedicated IP, then contact technical support.
    • For restored hosting accounts. You need a hosting account to migrate. prolong.
