2.1.5. Hosting account name

The hosting account name is used to identify it within the hosting system. It is set only at the time of ordering a hosting account, it is unique and cannot be changed.

• V accounts for payment.
• In an absolute path root directory account.
• In host names SSH, FTP and MySQL.
• As prefixes in names FTP- and MySQL-users, as well as the names of the databases.

The name does not in any way affect the operation of sites and their position in search engines.

To make it easier to navigate among the hosting accounts, for each of them, using the edit button next to the name, you can set a custom name (alias). This function only changes the way the hosting account name is displayed in the section "Hosting "... On file system path, host addresses and user prefixes custom name does not affect.

Hosting account name is displayed in the section "Hosting " in the block "Account":

• With a pseudonym
