2.13.2.12. Localizing Joomla!

  1. Openup Adminpanel site.
  2. Go to section "Extensions → Language(s)" (in Joomla! 4 — in the section "System → Languages").
  3. Clickon "Install Languages".
  4. Find the required language in the list (you can use the search field) and click "Install" next to him.
  5. Go to the section again "Extensions → Language(s)" (in Joomla! 4 — in the section "System → Languages").
  6. To change the language of the main part of the site:
    1. Make sure that in the filter above the list of languages in the drop-down list is selected "Site".
    2. In the list of languages, select the radio button next to the required language.
    3. In the line with the required language, click on the button with an asterisk in the column "Default".
  7. To change the language of the site admin panel:
    1. Make sure that in the filter above the list of languages in the drop-down list is selected "Administrator".
    2. In the list of languages, select the radio button next to the required language.
    3. In the line with the required language, click on the button with an asterisk in the column "Default".
