2.13.2.16. Disable Contact Form in Joomla!

If you disable the contact form in Joomla! it should be borne in mind that such a form can be created both by standard functionality and by third-party extensions. Hiding a standard insecure contact form can help prevent unauthorized spamming using it.

  1. Go to section "Components → Contacts → Contacts":
  2. Mark the contact for which the feedback form is enabled and click "Change":
  3. Switch to tab "Contact display settings" and in the field "Show feedback form" choose "Hide":
  4. Save your changes.
