2.5.1.3. Upload and download files

Files can be uploaded from a local device or via a link. Uploading via a link is convenient because the file does not need to be downloaded to your device beforehand — it will be uploaded to the hosting directly from the specified resource.

Important points:

  • The size of uploaded files should not exceed 5 GB in total. To upload larger files, use any FTP client.
  • You can upload several files at a time, but no more than 10 files at a time. If there are many files, pack them into a .zip archive, upload it to hosting and extract.
  1. Navigate to the directory where the upload is to be performed.
  2. In the toolbar, click "Upload file" or "Upload directory" (the first two buttons on the left):
  3. Select one or more files or directories to be uploaded.
  4. Wait for the operation to complete. Large files may take a long time to upload.

  • The link to the file must be public and direct, pointing directly to the desired file. If it leads not to the file, but to a page where it can be downloaded, the file will not be uploaded.

To download files using the file manager, select the files and directories you want to download, right-click on them and select "Download" in the context menu:

  • A single file is selected — it will be downloaded in its original form with the original name.
  • A single directory is selected — it will be downloaded as an archive in .zip format with the name of the directory.
  • Multiple files/directories are selected — they will be downloaded as a single archive named archive.zip.
