2.5.1.3. Uploading and downloading files

Files can be downloaded from a local device or from a link. Downloading from a link is convenient because the file does not need to be downloaded to your device first — it will be uploaded to the hosting directly from the specified resource.

Important points:

  • The total size of uploaded files must not exceed 5 GB. To upload larger files, use any FTPclient.
  • You can upload several files at once, but no more than 10 files at a time. If there are a lot of files, pack them into an archive .zip, upload it to your hosting and unpack.
  1. Change to the directory where you want to download.
  2. On the toolbar, click «Upload file» or «Upload folder» (first buttons on the left):
  3. Select one or more files or directories to download.
  4. Wait for the operation to complete. Downloading large files can take a long time.

To download files using filemanager select the files and directories you want to download, right-click on them and select «Download»:

  • If a single file was selected, it will be downloaded in its original form with the original name.
  • If a single directory was selected, it will be downloaded as an archive in the format zip with the name of the directory.
  • If several files / directories were selected, they will be downloaded as a single archive with the name archive.zip.
