2.5.1.3. Upload and download files
Upload
Files can be uploaded from a local device or via a link. Uploading via a link is convenient because the file does not need to be downloaded to your device beforehand — it will be uploaded to the hosting directly from the specified resource.
From local device
Important points:
- The size of uploaded files should not exceed 5 GB in total. To upload larger files, use any FTP client.
- You can upload several files at a time, but no more than 10 files at a time. If there are many files, pack them into a
.ziparchive, upload it to hosting and extract.
- Navigate to the directory where the upload is to be performed.
- In the toolbar, click "Upload file" or "Upload directory" (the first two buttons on the left):

- Select one or more files or directories to be uploaded.
- Wait for the operation to complete. Large files may take a long time to upload.
Via link
Important points:
- The size of the uploaded file should not exceed 5 GB. To upload larger files, use any FTP client.
- The link to the file must be public and direct, pointing directly to the desired file. If it leads not to the file, but to a page where it can be downloaded, the file will not be uploaded.
- Navigate to the directory where the upload is to be performed.
- In the toolbar, click the "Upload files via link" button (third button from the left):

- Specify a direct link to the file you want to upload and click ✅:

- Wait for the operation to complete. Large file may take a long time to upload.
Download
To download files using the file manager, select the files and directories you want to download, right-click on them and select "Download" in the context menu:
- A single file is selected — it will be downloaded in its original form with the original name.
- A single directory is selected — it will be downloaded as an archive in
.zipformat with the name of the directory. - Multiple files/directories are selected — they will be downloaded as a single archive named
archive.zip.
