2.5.1.9. Password protection of directories on the website

Using the file manager, you can restrict access to certain site directories using an arbitrary username and password. After setting the restrictions when visiting these directories in the browser, visitors will need to enter a username and password.

1. Highlight the directory you want to password-close, right-click on it and select «Set password»:
2. Enter the desired username and password, confirm the operation:
3. Wait 10-15 minutes for the changes to take effect.

A password-protected directory is displayed in the file list with a lock icon.
