2.4.1.5. Site is already under maintenance

A site with the same name cannot be added in section «My sites» simultaneously in several hosting accounts. If, when adding a site, a message appears stating that it is already being served, then it has already been added to the control panel of one of our users.

The site is added to the account NOT the owner of the domain

Attention!

Domain ownership can only be verified by adding a TXT record, as described in this article. Confirmation by other means (for example, using screenshots of the dashboard panel) is impossible.

If the site is added to the account NOT the owner of the domain, you must confirm ownership by adding a TXT record:

Domain on third-party NS

Attention!

The record must be added for the main domain, not for subdomains. Most often, when adding a record for the main domain, the field with the name «subdomain», «subdomain» or «name» (the field can be named differently) you need to leave it empty or specify a symbol in it @, depending on the requirements of the NS owner.
  1. In the NS owner panel on which the domain is served, for the main domain (not subdomain), add a TXT record with the text move-to-user=XXXXXX (noted in the image above) where XXXXXX — identifier (ID) your account.
  2. Wait approximately 30 minutes for the DNS cache to refresh.
  3. Tryit Add site in section «My sites» again.

Domain on our NS

  1. In our control panel for the main domain (not subdomain) add an entry:
    • «Subdomain» — leave the field blank or specify a symbol @.
    • «Type» — select «TXT».
    • «Data» — insert text move-to-user=XXXXXX (noted in the image above) where XXXXXX — identifier (ID) your account.
  2. Wait a few minutes for the DNS cache to refresh.
  3. Tryit Add site in section «My sites» again.

The site is added to the domain owner's account

Notes:

  • The owner of the domain in the section «Domains » may display a line like «The site belongs to the user a***n@example.com. Delete?». It means that the site with the domain name exists in the section «My sites» hosting account of another user. Button press «Delete?» will delete the site in someone else's hosting account, while files and databases are not affected.
  • If the goal is to transfer a site between hosting accounts, use instruction.

If the site is added to the domain owner's account, you do not need to add a TXT record and just click «Add site»:
