3.5.2.5. Is it possible to speed up domain transfer?

Registrars to which the domain is being transferred sometimes recommend that the customer contact their current registrar to request that the transfer be speeded up. However, such speed up may create a number of problems for the current registrar.

According to the rules of transferring domain names, once the Auth Code has been entered and the transfer procedure has been initiated, it takes 5-6 days for the transfer to be completed automatically. This pause is necessary so that in the event of an unauthorized transfer, the domain owner has time to respond and cancel the transfer.

However, registrars have the option to "speed up domain transfer" and release it without waiting 5-6 days. But when a registrar "speeds up transfer" and releases the domain ahead of schedule, it takes responsibility for such speeding up, as it deprives the domain owner of the ability to cancel the transfer. It is for this reason that we only speed up transfers for domains that can be switched off during the transfer period.

The transfer can be speeded up at the discretion and responsibility of the current registrar only if the Auth Code has been given for the domain, but the domain has gone into clientHold status before the transfer is initiated, and speeding up is needed to get it working again.

    Дуже незрозуміла аргументація.

За правилами трансфер виконується 5-6 днів. Реєстратор не хоче брати на себе відповідальність і відпускати домен в обхід стандартних правил.
