3.5.2.2. Get transfer code (AuthInfo/Auth-Code)

It is impossible to get the transfer code if:

  • For international domains — less than 60 days have passed since registration or the last transfer.
  • For Ukrainian domains — less than 7 days have passed since the last transfer.
  • When registering as an account owner, you provided incorrect full name details. In this case, you must first submit a request to change the full name in the control panel.
  • For .RU domains — the transfer of such domains from us is only performed by transferring the domain to direct service at REG.RU.
  1. Specify your contact information in the domain (the procedure depends on the domain zone):
    • For Ukrainian domains, the contacts must necessarily match the data (full name, organization) in your account.
    • For international domains (.COM, .NET, .ORG, .BIZ, .INFO, .XYZ, .CLUB, .LIFE, .AUDIO, etc.) — it is permissible to specify other contacts, but they must be real (not fictitious). It is also necessary to disable the contact privacy service (Privacy Protection).
    • For .UA domains — no need to change contacts.
  2. Remove the domain transfer lock.
  3. After the transfer lock is removed, expect the transfer code (AuthInfo/Auth-Code) to be sent to the account email:
    • On business days, the transfer code is sent within one or several hours from 10:00 to 18:00.
    • On non-working days — 1-2 times a day.

The transfer code is valid for 30 days. If the transfer is not initiated within this period, the transfer lock will automatically be reapplied to the domain. If necessary, you can also manually reapply the transfer lock.
