1.2.1.2. Resetting account password
Important points:
- You can only reset your password if you have access to account mail.
- It is not the current password that is sent to the mail, but a link, by clicking on which, you can set a new one.
- The new password must be different from the previously used passwords.
- A password reset request can be submitted no more than once every 10 minutes.
- All will be reset active sessions, except for the current one.
- On the control panel login page auth.adm.tools under the field «Password» click «Forgot password?»:
- In field «Email» enter the current account mail and press «Reset password».
- Wait for the letter sent to the specified mail, and follow the link in it «Reset password» (if the message does not appear in your inbox, check your spam folder):
- In field «New password» enter or generate a new account password and click «Save».
- Click «Log in» and execute account login with a new password.
