2.6.1.2.2.3. Terminate processes using HeidiSQL

Each connection to the database runs in a separate process (thread). A process can be forcibly terminated using the KILL command.

  1. Connect to the database using HeidiSQL.
  2. Open the "Host" tab, then the "Processes" tab:
  3. Refresh the page by pressing F5 or the "Refresh" button:
  4. Select the process you want to terminate, then press Del or right-click it and select "Kill Process(es)" from the context menu:
  5. Confirm the operation by clicking "OK".
