2.6.1.2.2.1. Setting up a database connection in HeidiSQL
Before connecting, make sure that the IP from which the connection will be made is added to the list of allowed in security settings MySQL.

- «Network type» («Network type») - make sure that is selected «MariaDB or MySQL (TCP/IP)».
- «Hostname / IP» («Hostname / IP») — specify the host from data to connect to the database.
- «User» («User ) - specify the login from data to connect to the database.
- «Password» («Password») - enter the password from data to connect to the database.
- «Port» («Port») — make sure the default port is specified

. - «Databases» («Databases») — specify the name of the database from data to connect to the database.
- Click «Open» («Open») and in the window that appears, specify whether you want to save the specified connection settings.
