2.4.1.1.11. Configure custom 404 error page

Notes:

  • The file must have the extension .html or .php.
  • The path to the file is specified relative to the site root directory.
  • You can also customize your 404 error page using .htaccess.

Error 404 occurs when accessing a non-existent page on the site. You can configure the site to display its own 404 error page instead of the standard web server error page.

  1. Place the error file in the site directory.
  2. Open the "Site settings" section.
  3. In the "Custom 404 error page" field, specify the path to the error file and save the changes.
  4. Wait 5-15 minutes for the changes to take effect.

If the file is renamed or deleted, the standard error page of the web server or CMS used will be displayed.
