2.4.1.1.11. Configure custom 404 error page
Notes:
- The file must have the extension
.htmlor.php. - The path to the file is specified relative to the site root directory.
- You can also customize your 404 error page using .htaccess.
Error 404 occurs when accessing a non-existent page on the site. You can configure the site to display its own 404 error page instead of the standard web server error page.
- Place the error file in the site directory.
- Open the "Site settings" section.
- In the "Custom 404 error page" field, specify the path to the error file and save the changes.
- Wait 5-15 minutes for the changes to take effect.
If the file is renamed or deleted, the standard error page of the web server or CMS used will be displayed.
