2.4.1.1.1. Processing requests for non-existent subdomains

Notes:

  • To enable the site to accept requests to specific domains and subdomains, use aliases instead of processing requests to non-existent subdomains.
  • When enabled, the site accepts requests only to subdomains that are not added in the "My sites" section.
  • This option can be enabled only for one subdomain. Enabling the option for another subdomain within the domain will disable it for the previous one.
  • Enabling this option is required when installing wildcard certificates from Let's Encrypt.
  1. Open the "Site settings" section.
  2. Enable "Process all requests for non-existent subdomains *.example.com" and save your changes:
  3. Wait a few minutes for the changes to take effect.
