2.4.1.1.12. IPv6 autoconfiguration

By default, all sites on the hosting can work with both IPv4 and IPv6. For domains served on our NS, v domain settings records of type are automatically added AAAA with IPv6 addresses. In situations where only IPv4 should be used and there should be no AAAA records in the domain settings, auto-adding of records can be disabled.

When there are A records in the domain settings, but no AAAA records, visitors who are using IPv6 automatically change the protocol and go to the site over IPv4.
  1. Openup site settings.
  2. Check / uncheck the box next to «Enable automatic adding of AAAA record to IPv6 domain»:
  3. Save your changes and wait about 10 minutes for the changes to take effect.
  4. Delete unnecessary records like AAAA in domain settings.
