3.1.7. Domain already serviced
Reason
At any given time, a domain can be added to only one user's account; it cannot be added to multiple accounts simultaneously. If you receive a message indicating that the domain is already being serviced when attempting to add it, this means it has already been added to another user's control panel. To resolve this situation, you need to confirm domain ownership using either of the two available methods.
It should be noted that it is not possible to add a domain that is registered with us. Such a domain is located in the account of its current owner, and to provide access to this domain, the owner needs to use access delegation, and for transferring between accounts — ownership transfer.
Confirmation of domain ownership
Important points:
- You can only confirm your domain using a TXT record or change of NS. Confirmation using screenshots of the registrar's panel or other methods is not possible.
- After successful confirmation, the domain will be removed from another user's account, and a notification with a list of the domain's DNS records at the time of removal will be sent to their email.
Confirmation using a TXT record is suitable for situations where the domain is hosted on third-party NS. The method with changing NS is suitable for any NS.
TXT record
Attention!
The method is suitable only for domains that are serviced by third-party NS. For domains on our NS, use confirmation through NS change.- Attempt to add a domain in our control panel and receive a window with the text of the confirmation TXT record:

- In the NS control panel where the domain is hosted, add a TXT record for the primary domain with the text
move-to-user=XXXXXX, whereXXXXXXis the identifier of your account (ID) to which you want to add the domain. - Wait approximately 30 minutes.
- Attempt to add the domain again in our control panel.
Change NS
- Try to add a domain in our control panel and receive a window with a new set of our NS:

- In the domain registrar control panel, set the newly received NS instead of the current ones.
- Wait for the DNS cache to refresh (usually a few hours, maximum 24).
- Attempt to add the domain again in our control panel.
