3.1.3.2. Set our MX record

Attention!

When installing our MX record, previously installed MX and SPF records will be permanently deleted.
If the domain is serviced on external NS, changes need to be made in the control panel of their owner.

MX records specify the servers that should receive incoming mail sent to the domain's mailboxes. For the mail to be accepted by our mail server, our MX record must be set for the domain.

  1. Open the "Domain settings (DNS)" section.
  2. Click "Settings presets" and set the preset "adm.tools → Domain setup for adm.tools mail" (this will change the current MX records of the domain to ours and add an SPF record).
  3. Wait for the DNS cache to refresh. This usually takes a few hours (maximum 24).
  4. Check the operation of incoming mail.
