3.6.10. Domain connection to Shopify

Use presets from the group "Shopify".

1. Signin to your Shopify account.
2. Go to section "Online Store → Domains":
3. Clickon "Connect existing domain":
4. Enter the desired domain (without www) in the field "Domain" and press "Next":
5. Set up your main domain or subdomain to work with Shopify:

   • Setting up the primary domain
   • Setting up a subdomain

   1. Delete address records of type A and AAAA for main domain and www subdomain:
   2. Add two DNS-records with the following data:

      	Subdomain	Type	Data
      First recording	Leave blank	A	23.227.38.65
      Second entry	www	CNAME	shops.myshopify.com

      In some cases, Shopify does not require adding a CNAME record, but in order to avoid possible problems, it should still be added. You can also add a wildcard entry for additional auto-tuning of subdomains:

      	Subdomain	Type	Data
      Third entry	*	A	23.227.38.65

   3. Wait for the update DNS cache... This usually takes several hours (maximum 24).

   1. If there are any records like A, AAAA and CNAME, remove their.
   2. Add two DNS-records with the following data:

      	Subdomain	Type	Data
      First recording	Subdomain name (for example, sub)	CNAME	shops.myshopify.com
      Second entry	Subdomain name with www (for example, www.sub)	CNAME	shops.myshopify.com

   3. Wait for the update DNS cache... This usually takes several hours (maximum 24).
6. After the changes in the domain settings are updated on the side DNS-server, click "Verify connection":
7. If all actions were performed correctly and the domain records were successfully verified on the Shopify side, then the following page will be displayed, indicating the successful addition and configuration of the domain:
