3.1.4.5. Direct domain to hosting account

The article describes the procedure for the direction of the domain, which is served on our NS, to the hosting account, in which in the section "My sites" added site with the domain name.

  1. Findout current IP addresses hosting account, in which in the section "My sites" added site with domain name.
  2. Openup domain settings.
  3. Edit address records like A and in the field "Data" specify for them current IP address in IPv4 format (four dot-separated numbers):
  4. Edit address records like AAAA (if there are no such records, you can add) and specify current IP address in IPv6 format (colon-separated groups of numbers and symbols) in the field "Data":
  5. Wait for the update DNS cache... This usually takes several hours (maximum 72).
