3.1.4.5. Point domain to hosting account

This article describes the procedure for redirecting a domain that is hosted on our NS to a hosting account with the same name site.

  1. Find out the main IP addresses of the hosting account where the site with the domain name has been added.
  2. Open the "Domain settings (DNS)" section.
  3. Edit the address records of type A and in the "Data" field, specify for them the main IP address in IPv4 format (four numbers separated by dots):
  4. Edit the address records of type AAAA (if there are no such records, you can add them) and in the "Data" field, specify the main IP address in IPv6 format (groups of numbers and symbols separated by colons):
  5. Wait for the DNS cache to refresh (usually a few hours, maximum 24).
