A list of changes to the site for 2024 year

Main changes in 🌨 December:

• ☁️ Hosting:
  • In the site settings, an option to enable WebSocket and EventSource support has been added.
  • In the "Hosting" section in the "Disk space" block, instead of the button to view detailed information, the refresh button is now displayed. The page with detailed information has been removed.
  • Blocks with connection settings, mail limits and disk space for mail are now duplicated in the "Mail from site" section.
• 🌎 Domains:
  • In the domain menu, a new item called "DNSSEC" has been added. It is displayed only for domains registered with us and allows adding DS records. The domain must be served on a third-party NS.
• 📧 WebMail.Online:
  • Added support for line breaks when inserting multiple addresses in the recipient field.
• 📦 Storages:
  • In the "Storage" section in the main block, a button to refresh information about used space has been added.
  • The button for disconnecting your domain has been moved to the connected domain settings window.
  • In the web interface, a column with the time of the last modification of files has been added.
• 🛠 Tools:
  • Reworked design of u.ua, added display of general statistics of uploaded files, language is now automatically selected based on the browser language.
  • The design of the page with the list of our tools has been improved — tools are divided into more groups, sorting has been changed, search has been added.
  • The page for viewing articles of the Criminal and Administrative Codes of Ukraine has been reworked — articles of the codes are now displayed separately.
• 🤖 Telegram bot:
  • In notifications of login attempts, added a line with the email of the account being logged in.
• 📖 Wiki:
  • Added short article on enabling WebSocket and EventSource support.
  • Added short instruction on how Ukrainian legal entities can activate services with daily payment on credit.
  • Updated instruction on logging into the account, added a scheme of authorization options and information about logging in via Discord.
  • Sections on the main page are now displayed in multiple columns.
  • Instructions on creating, restoring, downloading and deleting backups on hosting are combined into one, a brief scheme of operations with backups is added.
  • Updated article about telnet — described an easier way to enable the utility in Windows, added commands for enabling it via console.

Main changes in 🌧 November:

• ☁️ Hosting:
  • Added support for PHP 8.4. All PHP 8.3 extensions are available for this version, except for the imap extension, which is no longer built into PHP as of the new version.
  • You can now enable get_browser in PHP settings. When you enable it, you can choose whether the module is Lite or full version. The function is quite memory-hungry, so it's best to enable it only when you really need it.
  • Added support for ionCube 14.
  • On business hosting, added the ability to use SSL for external database connections.
  • In the site settings, you can now select "Browser language" as the language of error and bot protection pages. In this mode, the language will be selected automatically based on the language in the visitor's browser. If the visitor has an unsupported language, English will be used.
• 🌎 Domains:
  • In the domain search history, added pagination, the ability to delete individual domains and clear the entire history.
  • For the parking page, the deprecated visual editor has been removed, now only the HTML editor is available.
  • In addition to the existing ones, we have added new sets of our NS with the domains ns.express, ns.gold, ns.services, ns.works, ns.gold.
• ✉️ Mail:
  • When logging in to WebMail classic with login and password, the session is no longer bound to IP. When logging in without a password from the control panel, the binding is preserved.
  • The attachment file size is now the same for WebMail.Online and WebMail classic and is equal to 35 MB. However, when sending emails to external services, you should take into account that many of them accept messages with a maximum size of 25 MB.
• 📧 WebMail.Online:
  • WebAuthn support has been added for corporate mail.
  • The unsubscribe button when viewing an email now supports the List-Unsubscribe-Post header.
• 💻 VPS:
  • Implemented sending notifications when disk space becomes 95% or more used.
  • A maximum of 5 manual backups can now be stored for one server at one point in time. The limit of 1 backup per day has been removed.
  • User-Agent adm.tools monitoring tool is now used in requests from HTTP monitoring.
• 📦 Storages:
  • Improved web-interface for working with storage contents — added button for selecting the number of items in the file list, reduced height of lines, selected files are highlighted in blue, lines are highlighted when hovering, sorting is now performed by clicking on titles, changed button layout, Ctrl+A combination selects all files in the directory.
  • Increased speed of file deletion via web interface.
• 🐘 PostgreSQL:
  • Released new service — PostgreSQL.
• 👤 Account:
  • Added Discord support — you can link a Discord account to your account, use it to log in and receive notifications via our Discord bot.
  • Improved the interface of the access delegation page.
  • A header has been added to emails from our service, allowing you to unsubscribe from them through your email client in one click.
• 💰 Payment:
  • The process of renewal of delegated services has been simplified — when you click the renewal button in the control panel, a modal window with the payment form opens instead of the anonymous payment page, when renewing the services of legal entities, you do not need to enter the EDRPOU. Also, delegated hosting accounts can now be restored from deleted accounts directly from the control panel.
• 🛠 Tools:
  • In the file sharing service u.ua the design of the page for viewing uploaded content by link has been redesigned.
• ⚙️ API:
  • Added additional error codes — 403 when service is not available, 422 when there is an error in the filter, other errors return code 400.
• 📖 Wiki:
  • Added the article about sending documents with EDS to the administration mail.
  • Added the section with basic articles about PostgreSQL.
  • In the article about proxying traffic to web apps, added examples of running HTTP server and WebSocket server in PHP.
  • In the instruction on how to configure two-step authentication for mail, added information about configuring WebAuthn and the scheme of mailbox access when 2FA is enabled.
  • At the beginning of the article about working with storage content via API, a sample code for authorization and uploading a file to the storage was added.

Main changes in 🌧 October:

• ☁️ Hosting:
  • On business hosting, added support for PHP JIT.
  • On shared hosting for OPcache you can now allocate up to 4 GB, on business hosting — up to 20% of the plan memory, memory is selected in steps of 32 MB. On business hosting, the amounts already allocated to other sites in the hosting account are taken into account when making a selection.
  • Improved OPcache statistics output — statistics is now displayed in PHP settings for each site, information is divided into tabs, added output of detailed information about scripts and their optimization.
  • In PHP settings for PHP versions 7.0-8.3, added the ability to enable the msgpack module.
  • In site access logs, added a filter field by HTTP response code.
  • PHP error logging now works only until the log size reaches 100 MB. If the limit is exceeded, the system sends a notification and the logging option in PHP settings is disabled. The log can be cleared and logging can be enabled again.
  • On business hosting, added support for Node.js 23.
  • When adding a Supervisor process, the logic for substituting an interpreter into a command is now the same as cron.
  • Unpaid dedicated IPs are now visible in the list of addresses in the site settings. They cannot be chosen, but can be changed to a shared IP.
  • For Sphinx, the number of simultaneous search queries and the number of simultaneous connections now cannot exceed 20.
  • In the Firewall whitelist for one hosting account on shared hosting you can add no more than 15 addresses, on business hosting — no more than 30. Masked networks are not supported, IPv6 is truncated by the /64 mask when added. Having an IP in the whitelist of one hosting account does not protect it from global blocking in case of flooding to other hosting accounts where this address is not added to the whitelist.
  • Request for automatic site transfer is now not started if malicious code is detected in the target hosting account. To start the transfer, you need to remove the malware and perform a repeated antivirus scan.
  • Increased speed of creating manual backups.
• 🌎 Domains:
  • Increased prices for domains in a number of thematic zones.
• ✉️ Mail:
  • In the block with limits, added output of sending limit between domain mailboxes.
• 📧 WebMail.Online:
  • When editing a signature, you can now switch the editor mode to plain HTML.
• 💻 VPS:
  • Additional traffic in case of insufficient funds on the balance is now automatically disabled and after recharging the balance it has to be enabled manually.
• 🛠 Tools:
  • In the tool for creating screenshots of sites, added the ability to specify a theme and language, as well as select a mobile version.
• 🤖 Telegram bot:
  • Payment for services has been improved — now the cost is displayed at once for renewal periods, the output of the period for services that are renewed only for a minimum period has been added, unnecessary steps have been removed.
• 📖 Wiki:
  • Updated article about OPcache — added information about JIT.
  • In instruction for setting up Outlook, added information for setting up Outlook 2024.
  • Reworked instruction for renewing services.

Main changes in 🌧 September:

• ☁️ Hosting:
  • Test run of a cron task now runs in the same environment as the real run. In the form of adding a task with the "Available interpreters" button, you can now view the list of available interpreters and quickly copy them to the clipboard.
  • In the SSL settings for sites with domains served on Cloudflare NS, instead of the Let's Encrypt certificate issue button, it now displays a suggestion to use Cloudflare's own certificate.
• 🌎 Domains:
  • Increased prices for domains in zones .COM, .XYZ, .MONSTER, .QUEST, .BEAUTY, .HAIR, .SKIN, .MAKEUP, .HOMES, .AUTOS, .MOTORCYCLES, .BOATS, .YACHTS, .LAT, .LOL, .PICS, .RENT, .COLLEGE, .CEO.
  • The eSputnik preset has been split into three separate presets to comply with the instructions of this service. Presets now contain standard values, only the subdomain (where it is required) needs to be specified.
• ✉️ Mail:
  • When adding a mail domain and confirming it with NS, the add form now displays a button to check for up-to-date data on current NS.
  • When sending emails using WebMail.Online and WebMail classic, the real IP address of the client and the "WebMail" method are now displayed in the mailbox connection log.
• 📧 WebMail.Online:
  • When authorizing using the "Remember me on this device" option, the session is now set for 7 days and is automatically prolonged when using the web interface.
  • Searching for emails is now case insensitive.
• 💻 VPS:
  • When the traffic limit is exceeded, the channel speed for the server is now reduced to 10 Mbps.
  • The sidebar in the "VPS" section is now always visible, regardless of the availability of ordered servers.
• 📦 Storages:
  • To unlock unpaid storage now you just need to recharge the balance, the payment for storage during downtime is no longer charged. The manual unlock button remains and to use it the balance must be sufficient to pay for at least 1 day of service operation.
• 🗂 MySQL:
  • When adding a new IP to access restrictions, the system now automatically closes all active connections with addresses that are not in the list of allowed addresses.
• 👤 Account:
  • In the personal data you can now customize the time zone. It is taken into account when displaying the time in all sections of the control panel, except for logs — the server time zone is always used for them.
• 🛠 Tools:
  • In the tool for viewing information on Ukrainian companies from the state register, the output of information from the unified register of debtors and financial statement data has been added.
  • In the tool for checking IP addresses in spam lists, you can now specify domains — in this case, their A-records will be checked.
• 📖 Wiki:
  • Added short article about configuring the time zone.
  • Reworked instruction on how to change hosting plan.

Main changes in 🌞 August:

• ☁️ Hosting:
  
  • In PHP profiler, report viewing is optimized and accelerated, report file size limitation is removed.
  • The speed of backup creation has been increased. Archives with current copies of sites and hosting accounts are now created without compression, with previous days' copies and database copies — with compression.
  • During MySQL migration between servers, now you cannot perform database actions in the control panel, you have to wait for the migration to complete.
  • On business hosting, support for Go 1.23 has been added.
  • The file manager now works regardless of free disk space.
  • In WebSSH, when you select any text, it is now automatically copied to the clipboard.
• 🌎 Domains:
  
  • In the form for adding DNS records for A and AAAA records, you can now select addresses from the list of available services.
• ✉️ Mail:
  
  • The logic of counting local sends has been changed — now only sends within one mail domain are counted as such sends. Counting is maintained with its own limit, which is equal to either 5000 mails per day, or as in the plan limit, if it is more than 5000. The local sending limit does not affect the limit of sending to external servers.
  • When ordering or changing increased outgoing mail limits for hosting account mail (not corporate), the amount on the balance should now be enough for at least 2 days of service usage, instead of a whole month.
  • The increased outgoing mail limits cannot now be canceled if more than 500 mails were sent during the current day. Now in such a situation you have to wait for the next day, when the limits will be reset.
  • When customizing WebMail design, logos are no longer specified by links, but are now uploaded as files.
• 📧 WebMail.Online:
  
  • The editor now uses the standard browser context menu.
  • The nesting limit of HTML elements when viewing an email has been increased from 500 to 5,000.
  • Improved the layout in the mobile version.
• 💻 VPS:
  
  • Paid administration can now be ordered only by the service owner, users with delegated access can no longer use this option.
• 📦 Storages:
  
  • The request limit for public links has been increased.
  • Files with .html, .htm, .shtml, .xhtml extensions via direct links are now downloaded rather than displayed.

  • Information about used disk space is now taken directly from the file system instead of information_schema table. Added subdirectories output in the window with directory sizes.

  • Increased prices for domains in zones .ART and .УКР.
  • In domain tracking, you can no longer specify any email when subscribing — notifications are sent only to the email of the account.

  • Improved DKIM setup form for domains on third-party NS — subdomain name, record type and data are now displayed separately and each item is copied to the clipboard on click.
  • When processing incoming mail, the anti-spam level is now determined by the mailbox settings. If the recipients have several mailboxes hosted by us — the most stringent anti-spam level of all the ones set in the settings of these mailboxes is selected.

  • Added "Unread" folder — it displays all unread emails from all folders except trash and spam.
  • For new mailboxes, combining emails into chains is now disabled by default.

  • Added support for eusphpe module for PHP 7.0-8.1. This can be enabled in PHP settings.
  • In access restrictions by country, Google AdsBot, Google AdsBot Mobile,Google Safety and Chrome-Lighthouse have been added to the list of trusted bots.
  • Hosting accounts in which malicious code was detected are now unable to send mail from the web server without authorization. To remove the restrictions, the antivirus warnings must be resolved.
• 🌎 Domains:
  • Launched a promotion for registration of domains in .ONLINE, .SITE, .WEBSITE, .SPACE, .TECH, .STORE, .FUN, .UNO zones and a promotion for registration of a domain with the same name in .ONLINE zone together with a domain in .COM zone.
• ✉️ Mail:
  • Reworked whitelists and blacklists.
  • For corporate mail added a free plan for sending 500 emails per day.
  • Emails from a web server without authorization that are sent on behalf of an account's email are now considered invalid and are blocked. The exception is if the account uses email with a mail domain that belongs to the same account.
  • Added additional notification a day before inbox blocking when hosting account mail space is exceeded.
• 📦 Storages:
  • The storage capacity is now selected not manually in multiples of 10 GB, but in packages. The larger the capacity of the package, the cheaper the storage is in terms of 1 GB. All users who have the package with the nearest capacity cheaper than it was under the old system are automatically switched to this package. The rest of the users are left with the old capacity.
  • In the order and plan change form, the number of inodes that corresponds to the selected capacity is now displayed.

  • Notes can now be added to databases.
• 🗄 MongoDB:
  • Due to the license specifics, the service is no longer available for ordering.
• 🔍 Elastic:

  • When adding a site, the system now checks for domain access. If the domain is in another user's account and is registered by us or served on our NS, the system will not let you add the site until the domain is added to the account.
• 🛠 Tools:
  • The IP address detection tool now uses an invisible captcha.

  • Added instruction for launching on hosting an application on Next.js.
  • Added instruction for launching on hosting an application on Nuxt.
  • Added article about the problem of incorrect senders when sending mail from a web server without authorization, its causes and solutions.

Main changes in 🌤 May:

• ☁️ Hosting:
  • It is open to migrate to MySQL 8 for shared hosting accounts on servers in Germany.
  • Redesigned viewing of slow queries — if there are slow queries, a red triangle is now displayed next to the database name, the list of slow queries is opened by clicking on this triangle or through a notification in the database menu, setting the number of seconds has been moved to MySQL settings.
  • The maximum SQL file size when importing a database through the control panel to a hosting or MySQL instance has been increased from 300 MB to 5 GB.
  • Site locking during database migration is now disabled by default for all new hosting accounts.
  • On business hosting, packages of all versions of Node.js are now installed by default and available at paths like /usr/local/nodeXX, and support for Node.js 22 has been added. Versions are now changed using PATH without using nvm.
  • On page with the list of hosting accounts, added output of the number of virtual hosts.
  • The system will no longer let you add a site or subdomain if 999 virtual hosts already exist in your hosting account in total.
  • In access logs and site error logs, added the ability to delete logs for an individual day or month. The download buttons now display the period to be downloaded.
  • In IP statistics the number of output lines per page has been increased from 50 to 500, the data is now additionally sorted by the number of requests to nginx.
  • Increased the speed of the file manager on business hosting.
• 🌎 Domains:
  • Increased prices for domains in zones .RIVNE, .ROVNO.UA, .RV.UA.
  • Resumed registration of domains in zones .FORUM, .GIFT, .LINK, .PHOTO, .TATTOO.
  • Stopped registration of new domains in zone .KHMELNITSKIY.UA, increased prices for operations with existing domains in this zone.
  • Updated the preset for connecting the main domain to Shopify, added preset for subdomain connection.
• ✉️ Mail:
  • For corporate mail domains, added the ability to order a dedicated IP.
  • For mailboxes of corporate mail, added the ability to configure two-step authentication and app passwords.
  • Emails with invalid sender addresses that are sent without authorization from a web server are now blocked.
  • In unsent emails log for hosting account, you can now see blocked emails with invalid senders.
  • For hosting account mail with space overage, we have added an option to unblock incoming mail for 1 day. Unblocking becomes available 1 hour before blocking and can be used any number of times within the first 10 days from the moment of sending a notification about space overage.
  • The limit on the number of emails sent per minute and the number of simultaneous recipients in one email has been increased from 60 to 300.
  • When exporting mail, the lifetime of the link to the created archive is increased from 1 day to 7 days.
  • When enabling DMARC reports, only the TXT record in the domain settings and our report collection mailboxes specified in it are now checked.
  • In "Mail" section, all mail domains are now displayed by default. A filter has been added at the top of the page where you can quickly switch between all mail domains, corporate mail and specific hosting accounts.
• 📧 WebMail.Online:
  • For corporate mail, in the settings, added sections for managing two-step authentication and app passwords.
  • In security settings, a block with connection data — server, protocols and ports — has been added.
  • In the caption editor, images can now be added in two ways — by uploading a file or inserting a link, and a source code edit button has been added.
  • Accelerated performance of various operations — creating, saving, opening and sending emails, opening the list of emails when navigating through folders, indexing.
• 💻 VPS:
  • AlmaLinux 8 and 9 are now available in the OS auto-install.
• 📦 Storages:
  • Added "Overwrite if exists" option to the file renaming form in the web interface.
  • In settings of auto-delete files, added option to delete empty directories.
• 🗂 MySQL:
  • When using replication, instance replicas are now always hosted on a server other than the master.
• 🛡 Protection:
  • The new protection service is open for ordering and payment. It allows you to protect your site from unwanted requests, distribute the load between several servers, reduce server load by caching responses and compress responses to reduce the amount of traffic.
• 👤 Account:
  • The delegation form now displays only those types of services that are available in the current account.
• 💰 Payment:
  • Ukrainian legal entities in "Acts" section can now themselves send accounting documents to the required electronic document management systems.
  • Referral rewards are now charged not once a day, but immediately upon receipt of payment for the corresponding service.
• 🤖 Telegram bot:
  • In notifications of a new reply in a ticket, you can now see the text of the last reply.
• 📖 Wiki:
  • Added article about two-step authentication for mail.

Main changes in 🌤 April:

• ☁️ Hosting:
  • On business hosting added the ability to log queries to MySQL (General Query Log).
  • Added support for Python 3.12.
  • On business hosting added support for Go 1.21 and 1.22 and Node.js 20.12.2 and 21.7.3.
  • The inode limit for auto-transferring sites between hosting accounts has been increased from 200,000 to 400,000.
  • Updated database import form, added the ability to import directly from MySQL service.
  • Optimized storing of information about slow MySQL queries, updated the interface for viewing slow queries and accelerated its work.
• 🌎 Domains:
  • Registration of domains in the zones .CHERNIGOV.UA, .CHERNOVTSY.UA, .KHMELNITSKIY.UA, .KIROVOGRAD.UA, .ROVNO.UA has been stopped.
• ✉️ Mail:
  • Released new service — corporate mail. All work with mail is now performed in new section of the control panel.
  • Added the ability to separate a mail domain from a hosting account and turn it into a corporate one, and conversely — to attach a corporate mail to a hosting account.
  • When available space is exhausted, mailboxes now stop receiving incoming mail.
  • When sending mail without authorization, the system now detects bad sender addresses (e.g. sending mail under the guise of gmail.com, ukr.net, etc.) and sends notifications with a list of such addresses once a day.
  • The primary MX server is now mx.services. The old addresses will continue to work, but we now recommend using the new address when setting up your domain.
  • Whitelist and blacklist now apply only to services belonging to the same account.
  • Added the ability to enable access to WebMail.Online on a subdomain of your domain and customize its design.
  • For corporate mail, added the ability to configure mailbox access using application passwords instead of the primary password.
• 💻 VPS:
  • Added a new "Firewall" tab where you can add rules for incoming traffic to be applied at the KVM level.
  • Channel speed for all plans is now equal to 10 Gbit/s. Instead of speed limitation, traffic limitation is now used — from 2 to 30 TB per month depending on the plan with the possibility of paid increase.
• 🖥 Dedicated:
  • Server configuration changes are now performed on the new "Hardware" tab. Disk replacement can now be performed at the user's choice - free or paid. When performing a paid replacement, a disk that is guaranteed to have been used for less than 1000 hours is installed.
  • For servers with multiple network connections, load charts are now displayed separately for each channel.
• 🗂 MySQL:
  • Added "Users" tab with a list of all existing instance database users.
  • An import button has been added for databases. You can import from a file, from another MySQL service, from a hosting account or from an external server.
• 🗄 MongoDB:
  • Added support for MongoDB 7, removed the ability to order versions lower than 6.
